She-Hulk goes in the "Other Avengers-Related" topic area, which currently also includes talk of Captain Marvel, Moon Knight, etc. I agree with Shiryu that there shouldn't be a separate forum for every character-- this is the Avengers, after all; it would quickly get out of control! (BTW-- Ms. Marvel only has her own forum because she's my second-favorite character. Sue me.)

Who would you say is the best supporting character in the Marvel Universe, and why? It can be anyone, even a lead character with his/her own book. You simply have to believe they're the best supporting character, or have the potential to be. And tell what about them makes you think so, or what would have to happen for them to be. I'm going to name three that instantly come to mind-- none of them does a thing for me as the star of an ongoing book, but I love seeing all three of them show up as guest stars, and usually sparks fly when they do: Nick Fury Doctor Strange NamorFury works so well in juxtaposition to costumed super heroes. He's like the ultimate cop, who can stand there next to a super-powerful being and not be intimidated. He could write Thor a parking ticket and not break a sweat! Strange brings a lot of color and other-worldliness to a story when he shows up. Since I've never been a regular reader of any of his series, I don't know if his true power levels or limits have ever been definitively established, so that requires a good deal of finesse by the writer (or else he becomes the magical solution to anything). But he always has a different perspective from everyone else in the room, never meekly goes along (and often reacts negatively, even to someone like Cap or Reed Richards), and yet his motives and virtue can never be questioned. Cool. Namor is the ultimate Marvel half-hero, half-villain. And, with him, you never quite know what you're going to get. He was, for me, easily the best thing about the ILLUMINATI one-shot, for example. He's just ornery and cantankerous. Sometimes, that gets awfully tiresome. Usually, though, he gets up on that moral high-horse and rants and raves with the best of 'em. Quicksilver longs to be Namor when he grows up. ;D Thoughts? Others?

Well, that sort of came with the boards, when I set it up. I take it to mean, when someone says something you really like, you "exalt" them and give them a karma point. When someone says something you really don't care for, you "smite" them and take away a karma point. Looks to be just a fun little thing to help build the spirit of community here. I've used it to "exalt" a few people already. (Haven't "smited" anyone-- yet!-- and don't plan to.) In fact, let's try not to start "smiting" left and right-- let's stay polite and friendly and continue to make this community something we can all be proud of.

>>>then BENDIS! a) needs to learn to write more clearly <<<
Ha! This almost goes without saying. It amazes me that Bendis can write so much dialogue, just pages and pages of conversations, and yet leave things so confused by the end that readers are not quite sure what they've just read...

Here's my current list of buys, modified a bit since last fall when I started this thread:
Iron Man Thunderbolts New Avengers Young Avengers Squadron Supreme Annihilation (all) Conan Ms. Marvel Moon Knight Ultimate Fantastic Four Book of Lost Souls The Thing Son of M Civil War
Wow-- that is about as long a list of comics as I've ever bought. This really is a good time for comics, IMO.
plus I've bought Supergirl and the Legion of Superheroes the first two months, out of curiousity. And I've really gotten into Hellboy and BPRD, via the trades. Same with Ultimate Spider-Man and the new Captain America (Brubaker).
I'll also be getting the new Justice League (Meltzer) because I enjoyed Identity Crisis so much.

Not sure I understand your complaint about YOUNG AVENGERS. I think it's one of the two or three best books Marvel's publishing right now, along with TBOLTS and one or two others. Care to clarify? Thanks! --Van

What're you reading these days, and what're you dropping? I've dropped STRANGERS IN PARADISE and SUPREME POWER and AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. Just couldn't justify the cost, for what I was getting.
