Top 5 heroes: Cap Hulk Iron Man Thor Sub-Mariner Oh wait, that's the weekly line-up for the 1960s Marvel Super-Heroes cartoons. Actually, my list would still contain Cap as #1, for obvious reasons; and Subby, as #5: I always liked his half-human, half-Atlantean conflict. I've said it before -- someone is missing the boat by not putting these out on DVD!! #3: Havok: I just like him. The original costume, the powers, and he's much more likeable than Scott. Too bad Marvel doesn't use him more. Some time ago I advocated Havok and Polaris joining the Avengers!

No, no -- we are referring to the cartoons that were on tv beginning in 1966. They were basically just made from art that had actually been in the comics. Very cheaply made, I'm sure. If you have a broadband Internet connection, you can search for these on YouTube. They have a charm despite their amateur-ish appearance.
And by the way, I am looking forward to the DVD-ROMs you cited!!

I've seen some Thor episodes on youtube...and as Doug and von Bek said, there are others available there too. A musical treat: www.toontracker.com/waves/waves.htm"When Captain America throws his mighty shield..."
