hello - i've been looking for a copy of avengers annual #10 for my mike golden collection. it occured to me that with marvel's propensity for reprints there might be other versions (i.e. not newsprint) available. i've poked around the internet but haven't found one yet... does anyone know if that particular annual has been reprinted anywhere else? thanks for your time!

Most recently (to my knowledge) that annual was included as a pack-in with the Ms. Marvel Marvel Legends action figure. Not sure you're into collecting action figures, but that is one place I know you can get it right now.

It is the annual, but pages are cut out of it, and it has a different cover, all in all, it is not worth it. The figger is cool though.

Toybiz did do a great job on her, didn't they. Overall, the Wal-Mart series was very well done, and Giant-Man is beyond cool!!!
Didn't know you were a Marvel Legends guy, knight! I've posted a few ML things before and never got any response...

If you're not looking for a mint copy, I'll send you one of my copies. I have about half a dozen but they're not in great condition.

I got the whole wal-mart set, including the variants, man that was hard, there are some really jerks working at the walmart near me, one the employees actually walked up to me, when I was grabing all of the figures and said that he had pulled three variant sentries out of the box, and he didn't need anymore, and that is why it got to the pegs. Jerk.

So far with all of the build-a-figure series I have been able to hit the "mother lode" -- total cases hot out of the box. I sold off Sabretooth, both Wolverines, both Sentrys, Capt. Britain, and Thor from the Wal-Mart series -- since I had cut the Giant-Man pieces out of the packages I didn't get much for them -- but I have that Giant-Man!
I like the BAF figures, but not the buying of figures I don't necessarily want. I am, however, very much looking forward to Annihilus, and the Blob looks incredibly cool to me! Onslaught, you can have...

I am only picking up Falcon for the series 14 and from series 15 I am getting Beta Ray Bill, Moon Knight, Wasp, and Captain Marvel, and maybe the varaint spider-woman if it is julia carpenter. From Hasbro series 1 I am getting Hercules. From series two I am getting King Thor, Yellowjacket and Quicksilver. Here is hoping for a Black Knight soon.

New Avengers aside, don't you think the classic Power Man is cool??
You're not getting Zemo? there is a Kang coming out in, of all places, the FF series.

It was re-printed in the OOP TB Greatest Battles of the Avengers. Not sure how easy that is to find. I have it and it is a nice re-print. Vibrant Golden colors. Another arc that demands re-print status is Avengers 164-166, the Nefaria issues with John Byrne Pablo Marcos art. Scott

I didn't care for the Red Skull -- I wish they'd dressed him as the first one they issued, in more of a Nazi uniform. That being said, the 2-pack would have been perfect for me if they'd packaged the masked Cap with Baron Strucker. And the 2-pack Hulk is the best one they've done, but hey -- how many Hulks does one guy need?

Michael Golden = My fave Avengers artist, ever!
A genious. I agree with whomever was at Marvel at the time and called him "The Next Jack Kirby"
Anyway, i think this one's reprinted in Avengers greatest battles TPB. Check it out, there's one TPB that reprints this annual, of that i'm sure.

Loved his work, especially on Micronauts. want to kill whomever put Al Milgrom as his inker on some parts of the story Wish Golden'd exhibited some of Jack's blazing speed and consistency. Although these days he could probably do a "monthly" book.

You know, I always thought that Rogue shoulda made more appearances with the Avengers. Not necessarily as a villain, but not necessarily as an ally either. Annual #10 was too good to be essentially never followed up on within the Avengers.

I really liked him too. I thought his grasp of anatomy was really good, particularly how he drew hands. How sad he only ever drew that one Avengers issue.
Did you all notice Bendis, in NA, ripped off that classic scene of Spiderwoman catching Ms. M with her legs?
