I'm just wondering if anyone is reading SA these days. I'm still buying it, I HATE the $3.99 cover price, but I've got to buy SOME new comics, so I stuck with it. The Art Adams covers have been the highlight, but it's an okay book. The storylines and art have left me confused from time to time, but Remender has filled the book with lots of heroes and villains, so I like that. I wish Art Adams was doing the interior art, especially since the recent artist(s) have treated the huge cast as hard-to-place or background squiggles, but that seems to be common amongst the new artists. All in all it's just OK for me, but once Av Academy is done I need at least ONE Avengers comic to read (and a non-BMB title ) So is ANYONE reading Secret Avengers?

Yes I've been reading it fairly consistently and much for the same reasons you said Foxxx. I want to buy some Avengers stuff. SA is better than buying nothing and buying nothing is better than buying Bendis. The book has its moments in every issue but, like you, I'm often confused.
I think that's the thing I miss the most about the old days. I wasn't confused on such a regular basis. Hickman's FF (Both books) does the same for me. I feel like I can buy an issue and feel lost. I start to catch on then the buy the next issue. I'm more confused because I feel like I've come into the middle of a story but it's not the same story as I was reading last issue. The next month comes and I'm confused all over again by a story that has nothing to do with either of the last two. I have a college degree. I sometimes teach and perform Shakespeare for God's sake. If I can't understand comics, is it any wonder that today'd kids aren't getting hooked anymore?
