His voice just made me think of The Great Humungus from Mad Max 2. He did sound a bit, er, 'fruity'.
Anyway, the film was okay I guess. No match for the previous two though. I felt they tried way too hard to up the ante on the previous movie and it made the whole thing a bit ridiculous.
Also the chronology was a bit rubbish.
The Joker has started causing trouble by the end of the first movie, making the second one follow close on its heels in 'real time'. Now Batman is supposed to have retired immediately following the events of the second film and comes out of retirement for one last hurrah in DKR. As a result the main part of his crimefighting career lasted only a matter of months (if not weeks!) and he only faced the Joker the once (rather than the two of them being 'destined to do this forever'). As for other Batman foes not included in the films, there is no allowance or room for them to be imagined as a part of the background.Of course it doesn't matter - but it just feels so wrong to me and is something I'd rather ignore about this trilogy (and particularly this movie).
