I picked this up on a whim...(I could care less about Chaos War) and I really liked it. I can't remember why...(I'll have to read it again for a review)....but I had no major complaints, besides the $4 price.
Anyone pick this up?

I did! I don't quite agree with the statement (made in the solicitation I think) that those are all Avengers who died with dishonor (Vision and Captain Marvel certainly didn't, nor did the Swordsman IIRC) but I did like enjoy the issue and the characters were all faithful to their original personalities. Great to see the real Vision again! I'll pick 2 up as well

I enjoyed it, it had a real avengers feel and it was much better than the other Chaos War tie ins I've read. My only complaint would be that it, and everything else spun off CW, is the sort of thing that would have happened in a few pages of Crisis on Infinite Earths or what have you spun out into a mini series.
It is essentially just some dead characters being brought back by the weird energy of a cross over and battling against his cookie cutter minions. As such it reminded me of aspects of a bunch of classic 80s and 90s DC crossover events but with a big price tag and it's own spin off book.
But yes it reads very well and the writers interest in the avengers history is there to see
