Is anyone else having trouble sending Private Messages? I was trying to send one to Doctor Doom, but for some reason, it keeps come up as not a member. But in doing so, it automatically combines the name to "doctordoom."
What's up with that? Anyone else having similar problems?

In true superhero-comics fashion , everyone here is entitled to a dual identity! It seems most of our users, yourself included, let their login usernames double as their display names; but a few users, including the Doctor and myself, have set our preferences so that our display names are something else—handy since the usernames have technical restrictions (all lowercase, no spaces…) that can make them a little less easy on the eyes, and also since the discrepancy allows one to type something shorter when logging in. When sending a PM or performing searches, you need the username, not the mutable display name. In Doctor Doom’s case, the username is “docdoom”. You can find this sort of thing out by examining the automatically created URLs that identify us (e.g., links to a user’s profile) or obviate the question by taking advantage of the user-specific “send personal message” links (at profile pages or next to the posts).

Phantom was quicker than me It's like he said. To avoid it, access the profile of the person you want to send the message to (from the "members" button, under the forum's logo) and then click on "pm". In this way, the forum will automatically send it to the right person.

What they said, so mine is "docdoom". But I prefer the name "Doctor Doom" to be displayed, for obvious reasons Anyway, I'd be interested in your PM!
