Hi everyone!
New poster here. I have been coming to this site for a few years now but didn't know there was a message board. D'oh!
I am a HUGE Avengers fan. Been reading the comic since around 1975.
I am also a big action figure collector. I have most of the Avegers made and have customized the ones not made.
I ahve a question for the board.
I am finishing my Avenegrs Mansion display for my figures.
I need to know what the color scheme for the mansion is.
I've looked on the TOHOTMU, thru many of my issues and tpb's. The color seems to change from issue to issue.
Is there an "official" coloe for the oputrside of the mansion? I'm gonna paint the bricks this coming weekend.
I've narrowed it down to a deep red or sandstone since those 2 seem to be the color the majority of the time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I will post my pix after I'm done.
Thanks!!
Tony

Welcome, Tony.
I would say those two color schemes would work. I guess it depends which version of the mansion you are building -- pre-Under Siege or post-Under Siege.
I would think one of the early annuals would have had an "official" diagram of the edifice. If you find it in an Essentials or some other B&W illustration, post and I can look it up for a color version.
Looking forward to your pix! I, and a few others around here, are also action figure enthusiasts!

Thanks DL.
I looked over the "Under Siege" issues and have decided to go with the Red brick-Gold trim combo.
The Sandstone with the Red Trim just didn't stand out to me as much.
Thanks for helping me decide!
I'll post some pics here in the next couple of weeks once it's completed.
Glad to hear there are other action figure enthusiasts here. We have a little over 2k action figure in our "toy room". Buying more & making more customs all the time too.
Looking forward to becoming a regular on here.
Tony

Welcome, Thonythor Your project sounds really promising ! I'm sure that in some of the old handbooks there are some schematics for the Mansion (plans, floors, rooms position etc) that you could find helpful.
