So, what do you have that you now scratch your head and say things like, "I paid HOW MUCH for that??" I am the owner of the Classic Captain America hardcover, slipcase edition of reprints of Captain America Comics #1-10 from the Golden Age. I ordered this set from Mile High Comics for $75 when I used them as my subscription service back in the early 1990's. These same books are available now as softcovers on the mass market, in two volumes sold separately. How I would like to have that $75 back. The quality of the product is very high, and they're OK as history; but as is typical of my opinion of most Golden Age work, the stories are lame, the art is so-so, and I find myself just overall indifferent to owning it. How about you?

Oh, about half my long boxes consist of stuff that's I dont' despise enough to throw away, but that isn't worth selling. The Dazzler series, The first couple years of X-Factor, 16 issues of New Avengers, Marvel annuals from 1990 through 1992 --
Something's wrong with me. I have no problem throwing out old copies of TV Guide -- but comics, I just can't do it. That's not the relationship I built with comics in my formative years.

I don't even want to think how much I paid to get my hands on the X-crossover "Fatal Attractions."
