I checked the posts on these issues on her main thread and this is a little different so I choose to post this review in the same venue as the others I have done in this Vein
I'll be reviewing issues 6-8 using the sam methodology of my other reviews.
Issue #6
In this issue we deal with another mostly singular aspect of the War. Being a policeman, and the choices you have to make. Carol has always been a soldier, I'm glad that they played her like they did throughout the entire series. I think they were fair with their assessment of what side she was on, and how she felt about the whole thing.
Things I liked:
Carol as a cop, already hit that
The character choices. Nobody really overpowers the presence of the main character. I've also always been a fan of Wonderbread and B&W spiderwoman
The fact that in the Cap falshback we see that Carol chose her side because it was what she believed, not because she was influenced by the wills of others.
"Since when are you a vegetarian" "Since I felt my cholesterol increase just listening to you order your food"
A superhero working at chickencow
Robbers making a BIG mistake
"Who want a piece of me"
Things I didn't like:
S.H.I.E.L.D interrogatin Hobie. I hated seeing him denied his rights. It's believable, I just didn't like it.
Julia being a traitor. I didn't like it when they did it with Tigra going the other way, and I don't like it here. Just doesn't feel right to me.
Overall this issue had some pretty decent action and enjoyable story movement. It also gives us a better look at the day-to-day work that super-hero hunters have to do.
I give this issue a decent
