I just realized that there is no topic in this tv series. Does anyone watch it? like it? I'm enjoying it for the most part. Obviously in100+ episodes there have been some silly ones, but overall for me it's being rather fun, going step by step and building to the Superman mythos. Now I only wish they will show Clark meeting a young Bruce Wayne at some point

I enjow Smallville, but I'm not avid. I have had crushes on Lana, Chloe, who keeps getting hotter, Lois (absolutely stunning) and now I'm infatuated with Supergirl. Oh, and sometimes the stories are good, too. Especially the Justice league episode. The actors are really pretty good (basically no-names from Canada). I get really bored with the Luthor's. Great actors, but long, boring, talky scenes and somewhat confusing plotlines. All in all, a guilty pleasure (since it's basically a soap opera) and lots of T+A. One question, wasn't there already a Supergirl character a few seasons ago?

I haven't seen Supergirl yet, season 6 just started over here, but yes, there was a character with her name and powers a few seasons ago. I don't remember exactly what she was, but she was a fake.

OK, sorry to spoil anything for you. The REAL Supergirl is super HOT. Definitely something to look forward to.

I watch Smallville, but I find it to be one of the most inconsistent shows ever (quality-wise). There are some episodes, mainly the ones dealing with Kryptonian issues/events, that I think have been excellent. And then there are the plethora of lame episodes, where Lana becomes a witch/vampire/mutant, or we have the newest "freak of the week", or yet another piece of kryptonite showing up (I think 90% of Krypton must have landed on Earth). I don't mind it being a soap opera but I wish that the writers would stop re-using so many themes.

I actually liked Lana as a witch, and some freaks of the week have been interesting, but overall I agree with you that there are too many filler episodes, that don't add much to the main story. Then again, that could be said for almost any series, and I suppose the writers couldn't put Clark against his classic enemies already (except for a few big ones) and needed something to keep the action part of the show up. For example I enjoyed when Aquaman, Flash, Cyborg etc showed up. And I *still* want Batman!
