Is anyone else gonna buy/watch this? I have been looking forward to seeing this ever since I saw the trailer on the IRON MAN DVD

Not sure yet. I will probably wait for a few bits to come out on the internet and rent the dvd or buy second hand if it looks good. I like the character, but not enough to spend too much money on him.

i'll probably rent it just for the sake of renting it, buying seems exceedingly unlikely.

I never did see that one. It was a special that came out when the live-action Spider-Man tv show was on, correct?

Oh man, that Live action Spider-man TV show takes me back.
If I recall, didn't he fight ninjas for no apparent reason?

Not sure about Spidey, but I know that's true of the New Avengers...

I dropped it into my Netflix queue. If it's good, I will probably buy a copy. The character is a favorite.

I dropped it into my Netflix queue. What's Netflix? It's an online video store. You log in, click on the movies you want ( 3 at a time I think. I had Blockbuster.. ) Then they send you your selected movies in the mail. You watch them and send them back in the included envelope.

I have two at a time, but yeah. The website is what you'd think, but I'll bet you can't get it in Italy. The postage fees would be high, and the turnaround would be excessive. Basically, you make a queue, and when you return a DVD, they send you the one at the top of your quere. It can get more complicated, but that's the gist of it.

Shiryu: are dvds which are produced in Italy the same type as those in Spain, which cannot be played on regular american dvd players...?

Yep. Italy and UK (as well as most of Europe) use the PAL system, whereas in USA and Japan there is Natscam (NSCM). The two systems have a different frame per second rate and are not compatible. More recently however, the world has been divided in 6 DVD regions: R1 - North America R2 - Europe, some parts of Africa, Greenland R3 - Some far East countries R4 - Mexico, South America, Australia R5 - Russia, India, most of Africa and Asia R6 - China These areas are partially compatible, meaning that you need a multiregion DVD player to see, for example, a R5 disc. The problem is not in the frame per second rate anymore, but in a "lock", that companies use to (try to) reduce piraty. Old dvd players could only unlock the code for their own region, but the new multiregion ones are universal and can read almost everything. EDIT: The longer version is here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD_region_codeAnyway, I think I've got what Netflix is now. We have a few similar things here in UK with Odeon, HMV and Blockbuster itself (you pay 10 Pounds a month and receive up to 3 dvds per time by post, free of charge). However I'm not a member so I'll wait for clips to come up on Youtube or for the disc to be in a rental store (may go there tomorrow actually...)

I've watched it. It's dinner time for me, so I'll post a review a little later, probably in a different thread. But overall, I enjoyed it.
