If any of you have Ultimate Alliance for the XBox360 they are making it so you can download some new playable characters.
Cyclops Colossus Hawkeye (YAY) HULK!!!!!!!
also: Magneto (very cool) and
DOOM!!!!!
These will have added cut scenes and dialouge.
SO COOL!

I hope they make the same addition for pc soon ! Hulk is especially interesting, since he was going to be in the first game and then had to be excluded because his rights (gameswise) were in the hands of another company.

I despise you all. I have the better version of M: UA but cannot download the extra contact as Nintendo won't get their freaking online working properly for a few months and thus it isn't even released on Wii.

I think an overall superiority of games compensates for the Wii's lack of an expansion back for one game

Sorry doom don't care for the wii or its play.. So it is not superior in my opinion, but that is all opinion. To me the X-Box 360 is far superior.

I'm a Nintendo-fan at heart and always will be, dating back to the GameBoy. Seriously, I defend Nintendo with a fervour that makes me look like RedStateCap when it comes to Marvel. Let's not raise the issue now, I've slaughtered gaming addicts at this argument and you people are most certainly not gaming addicts.
For Better Or Worse...

Too many addictions might destroy us, Doom, not everyone has your iron will... Who knows...? If I don't follow your advice & return at least somewhat to my old comic reading habit, I might follow the Irish example...

That depends, Nutcase; if you're talking about the wimpy mascot of the "Lucky Charms" cereal, no problem... but I would DEFINITELY stay away from the one starring on the "Leprechaun" horror films...

For superior graphics, I'd rate the 360 and PS3 neck and neck, but for sheer, goofy fun, I turn to the Wii. The Wii Sports package alone has brought us hours of fun - which I never thought it would do.

Tana, has anyone evertold your boyfriend how lucky he is. Having a girlfriend who's into comics and gaming,...
My wife just rolls her eyes and leaves the room,... wait that might not be about the comics and games,...

He and I are a perfect match - we actually met by playing City of Heroes online! ;D

For Better Or Worse...You can say all you want man, I do all the research and the X-box 360 is the best system for me. Also I have a friend who is a game designer, who looked at it with me, and determined that since I prefer first person shooter, and sports games, that the X-Box was a far superior machine to playstation or wii. Wii I am sure is great if you want to jump around when you play games, but I expect it is pretty much the same when it comes to actual gameplay regarding MUA.

Actually, I'd argue it may be slightly worse on wii when it comes to gameplay. Due to the developer's fault, not the system's. Personally I do not care at all about graphics as that's just "pretty pictures". I care about gameplay and when handled well, the wii has infinitely greater potential- take, for instance, "Twilight Princess", a wii adventure game which is vastly superior to any adventure game (or, arguably, any game) on Playstation 3 or X Box 360 thanks in large part to the controls. And theoretically, the wii is also MUCH greater for First Person Shooters- though I suspect that cannot be fully demonstrated until Metroid Prime 3 is out. That said, the FPS/Sports mix is firmly 360, I agree there.

Just like Metroid Prime 3, which I doubt will be a multi platform game. I don't like the controls. All you have said are opinion based things, that is great glad you like it, I like X-Box 360, and we move on.

A game does not have to be multi platform to compare, in fact one could argue it SHOULDN'T be, since the best exclusive games are a big part of choosing a platform.
WarioWare is another example; it's a brilliant game which is literally IMPOSSIBLE to make without the Wiimote. There are many games which work on wii but not anything else. There are no games where the gameplay should be worse on wii since there;s the classic controller option.

Great, glad you love the game... I find most of the games designed for Wii designed for kids. That is my opinion yours is differtent. Since you can't compare head to head with hard facts, we are not chaning eachothers minds. Can we move on now.
