www.ifilm.com/presents/spiderman3Very cool! I couldn't ever get a good look at Harry's Goblin suit, other than to assume that his gloves look a whole lot like Batman's. The Sandman effects look very cool.

Yeah, I am pumped for this now too. Looks like a lot of good action, and I was surprisingly pleased with the Sandman effects. Still not too sure about the wisdom of bringing in Gwen Stacy - especially since the Mary Jane we got in the first two movies was a bit of an amalgamation of the two girls. But I trust Raimi after seeing what he did the first 2 times.

Looks cool ! Eddie Brock is a wee bit too small and thin, and I'm not sure of bringing Gwen in, but besides this the trailer is really promising !

Here' a full-figure look at a Venom action figure coming out in spring 07. I think they've done a nice job on the look for the upcoming film!

Even without the sandman effects, sandy just wlking around, looks like they nailed it with him.

I've never been a huge fan of the symbiont(s), but I'll be there for this film. It does look like they nailed the Sandman.

I've read a couple of reviews after the London Premiere.
Apparently, it's a great film, but a bit worse than SM2 due to having too many villains (and as such too many climatic battles).
Maguire was considered "so so" in his "bad Spidey" version, while the actress who does Gwen and the Sandman were considered the best things.
The movie is over 2.5 hours.

Any word on how Topher does as Venom?

Not much. Apparently Venom is very good too, but the article doesn't specify if this is thanks to the actor, the special effects, a combination of them etc.

Another review came out, in Italian, on www.tgcom.it (under "spettacolo"). It pretty much confirms what the previous ones said. Pro: James Franco (the most belieavable of the characters), special effects ("stunning", especially Sandman), Gwen Stacy Bad: Too long, with too many villains packed together. Maguire and Dunst good, but not as good as in SM2, and "bad Peter" a bit lame. Once again, no specific mention of Venom

I wonder if the constant onission of Venom means he's that forgettable?
