What do you think of the Hood's team? How much of a threat are to the Avengers? How does the hood's gang compare to past super villain groups? How do compare with like past versions of the Masters of Evil, etc?

It's hard to say. There's a lot of villians who've never worked together before, and they haven't really done anything yet. If they can set aside their egos and coordinate their attacks, they could really be a threat.

They're not nearly developed enough. I think if we got a better view of them and had a stronger feel for the weight of this cast, then perhaps it would be easier to rate them.

Some of it is going to depend on who they actually are. Some of them are impossible to identify because of the bad art. As I recall a couple are (or were thought to be) dead. I wonder how many are actually Skrull. I have a hard time believing that this mob of egomaniacal malcontents could work together long enough to order pizza. A hub and spoke arrangement with Hood as the hub could work, and an occasional coming to aid of an overmatched fellow villain may work, but I thing long term serious collaberation among this group is unlikely.

Ah but a lot of super villain groups have members that by all rights shouldn't be working together, the latest Secret Society had Zoom and Black Adam working for them, but their personalities should make that impossible. Even the first MoE had some dicey choices, Radioactive Man, a Chinese communist, was willing to work for Baron Heinrich Zemo, a Nazi. Anyway, unlike the Secret Society or AoV, this group doesn't have any real Alpha dogs, so them working together is bit believable (ignoring odd choices like Crusader) . However I could see a few members being "starscreams", the Wizard for example, could be planning to take control, after the Hood does all the leg work and stuff.

I'm going to agree with Duke, I have very little idea who most of these people are due to the art.

Here is the best list I have seen online: Inner Circle:The Hood The Wizard Dr. Jonas Harrow Madam Masque Crimson Cowl Outer CircleBlackout Shockwave Bushwacker Slug Centurius The Answer Chemistro The Armadillo Crossfire The Blood Brother Cutthroat The Brothers Grimm Deathwatch The Constrictor (Might be the Squid) Dr. Demonicus The Controller Foolkiller The Corrupter Graviton The Crusader Grey Gargoyle The Griffin Hydro Man The Living Laser Jigsaw The U-Foes Mandrill The Wrecking Crew Mentallo Tiger Shark Mister Fear Typhoid Mary Mister Hyde Vermin Purple Man Rampage Razor-Fist Scarecrow I wondering what is with the lack of Spidey villains for such a street level team? I'm still not sure why these guys would take orders from the Hood though, he's only 21 years old and he has own family that could be exploited.

Now, I am not as up on Marvel stuff as a lot of you probably are, but even I can see problems with this list. I have noted the inconsistencies I noticed below off of Overlord's list (thanks for posting that by the way). Either some of these folks are skrulls or plants or someone is not paying attention. I hope there is a good explanation. I'm going to agree with Duke, I have very little idea who most of these people are due to the art. Marvel should release a list or something. Maybe they're hard to kill? I think only one died. maybe the other did some hoodoo to bring him back? And besides if there are twins, why not triplets? Maybe the third Blood Brother came after finding out his other bro died? Or maybe Marvel will just ignore it... I know what my guess would be.

Constrictor - might be government spy, assuming this takes place after the latest A: I arc or could be Squid instead of the Constrictor, besides they have similar costumes and the art was bad. The U-Foes- the 42 is a joke, half the villains escape on transport before they get there. I could buy that U-foes escaping. Living Laser- likely just the artist goofing up. Graviton -okay, now he could be a Skrull. I think crusader is the choice for a possible Skrull, he is supposed to be dead and no way would he join a group like this.
