here is a little exercise for you all.
Marvel has a completely new staff,.... US!
From what you have seen on this site who would hold what jobs? Who would write what books?

Van would get both New Avengers and Mighty Avengers.
I would get Avengers: Intiative and Uncanny X-Men.
Doctor Doom can get Fantastic Four.
Nutcase, you can have whatever you want.

I get Captain America. There's a lot of damage to repair and I'm just the man to do it.

I'd take Panther
I'd also like to play with Ghost Rider and Moon Knight
I'd be willing to split Young Avengers duty with Tana

I imagine Tana would want Thor... You wouldn't want Silver Surfer, Nutcase...? I'm shocked...!!! And, of course, the Phantom would HAVE to be the archivist, Keeper of the Flame & resident historian and his duties would include preparing all those handbooks & manuals...

I don't think I could handle a cosmic character like the surfer. Plus he is way to serious a character for me to do justice.

Phantom could have whatever he d**n well pleased, methinks. So could Van and Doug. And to state the obvious, since no-one has said it, Van would be EiC. Shiryu, doug and phantom would be senior editors with Phantom acting as our resident Mark Waid. I take Fantastic Four, like the w predicted. I already have an overarching plan that could over a good few issues! I immediately request to do a Doctor Doom miniseries! But the big question is- what would be the companywide crossover and who would write IT?

The new staff would almost unanimously vote against a company-wide crossover and go back to writing regular product lines.
Bong,.. you had me until you said mini. Imp and DP would be a new title, not a mini.

Bah! Crossovers do a world of good! Think of what could be achieved by them! I'd leave New Marvel and go work for the guys across the road and help them in their company-wide crossovers But not until my Doom Saga was complete of course. As I say, I literally have the most epic FF story ever planned in my mind, several overriding story arcs lasting over 30 issues. The minor hitch is that it would end with the deaths of Reed and Doom and the healing of the Thing so whoever came after me might be a little stuck...

Nahhhh, we'd just hire back the current staff and they'd retcon the whole thing and it would turn out that Doom was really just a time-shifted alien embrionic robot and Reed was just a Space Phantom from dimension 12.

I like crossover events (/me ducks)... maybe we could at least limit them in some fashion... say make them a maximum length of anywhere between 6 and 12 issues, and enforce a crossover moratorium for a minimum of 6 months after each event.
My ideal schedule would be to black out October through March, and have a 6 month crossover event that lasts April to September.

Fool! You would thus cement my place in legend as the Internet would suddenly scream and moan about the retcons and "boycoot Marvel forever" because of it, even if they hated my work! Unless of course my work was a company wide crossover in which case the Internet would just scream and moan in general.

My idea is to say everyone has been replaced by Skrulls. That way we can explain their... what? Dammit! Marvel steals all my ideas >sulks<

My idea is to say everyone has been replaced with Doombots.
Then let Doom rule the world.
I'll write every title.
FOREVER!

I'd go with a "New Spider-Slayer" arc to start off, mix in a little omega-sentinel-esque spider-slayer flair and extend the cast to the rest of the spider-women in some capacity.

As much as Doom dislikes clones (I wonder if he dislikes clowns as well, but I digress...) I would love if they would clone a younger version of Stan Lee to lead the NEW NEW bullpen...

I would also need to revive the 'What the?' product line,.. oh wait, that's what they're churning out now.
