My LCS is an hour away from home so basically I have to plan my trip around work and other daily errands. So I'm playing catch-up. SPOILERS! The Four Horsemen of Death begin their attack, kidnapping Thor, Wanda, and Wolverine. The split team dynamics were very good. Although the jokes made by Logan and Sunfire as they interrogated Ozymandias seemed forced, I liked how Logan's group interacted (though I found Rogue's somewhat flirting with Thor odd). I forgotten just how much I liked Shiro. It was great that reference was made to the storylines in Cap's own title (also written by Remender). It added an extra angle to Steve's outburst towards Logan last issue, how Steve had spent time raising what amounted to his own foster son in Zola's dimension for over a decade, and how that relationship influenced Steve's view of Logan killing the young boy who was the apparent heir to Apocalypse. Plus, loved the Wasp's throwback costume. Loved seeing Banshee again, even if he is dead. Though I don't get Sentry, I've never understood or even liked the character. Another enjoyable issue. Also in the news, Steve McNiven is set to come aboard as artist starting with #14.
