I'm just getting a feel fo what folks are getting. Now that I'm dropping some titles from the Marvel stable if there are some good things in other areas I might start branching out.
But if I do ask again it'll be in this thread.

This is not an exhaustive accounting. I’m looking forward to another action-packed issue of Rex Libris, chronicling the exploits of that stalwart librarian. There should also be some excitement with Noble Causes and Spider-Man/Fantastic Four.

I checked Diamond's site. IF I were going to buy anything, I would buy the Essential FF Vol. 6. But, since I have the DVD-ROM, I will be passing on that. Nothing else interested me enough to part with my cash.

Countdown #51 - but we'll see how long this one holds my attention... Amazing Spider-Man #540
That looks like it. A light week, for me. Since largely abandoning Marvel, it's a heavy week when I get six books.

Since largely abandoning Marvel, it's a heavy week when I get six books. Apparantly i'm a crap fan because despite being a marvelfan, it's a heavy enough week when I get six books! Surprised to see you getting Countdown, or ASM for that matter. Though methinks you'll be leaving the latter after ASM 543... Didn't think you were much for DC or JMS?

Green Arrow! The gangs just getting back together and I couldn't be more excited. I might pick up Thunderbolts, but I can't decide. It's like an awesome 80s action movie but I might sacrifice it in favour of the issue of Birds of Prey I couldn't find a few weeks ago. With such a small amount of stuff I might wait until next week to add the JLA.
My feelings towards Countdown is the same as 52. I'd love to read it and I'll follow it on the internet but I have to stay as far away from it as possible because there's no way I can afford to get hooked on a weekly book.
(Also, why isn't the word "towards" in the spell checker?)

Apparantly i'm a crap fan because despite being a marvelfan, it's a heavy enough week when I get six books! I directed no such comment at you. I'm not even sure what this means. Surprised to see you getting Countdown, or ASM for that matter. Though methinks you'll be leaving the latter after ASM 543... Didn't think you were much for DC or JMS? I'm getting Countdown long enough to see what it's about, at which time I'll decide whether to continue with it. I'll probably get ASM through the end of "Back in Black" and then drop it. JMS started out great, but until Back in Black he was very hit or miss, and it's hard for me to forgive him for "The Other" which was very lackluster after all the hype, and which did essentially nothing for or to the character. Whether I stick with ASM depends on who takes over when JMS leaves. Sooner or later, Spidey will have to make a mistake, and then he'll get grabbed up by the Initiative and future stories will consist of him looking at the blank walls of the cell they assign him to in "42" [1] which will not interest me at all. [1] The T-Bolts, at least, grab superhumans who don't register. They're Colorado's team, so it's unlikely Spider-Man will get crippled when he's caught. But Gauntlet clearly told the trainees as they flew by 42 that it was the destination of those they catch. Ergo, I'd guess that SHRA offenders will join other offenders there.
