I chose his Wonder Woman work, because for me it was the time his work began to reach the splendor that many of us appreciate today. Facial expressions, including unique looks for characters began to become the norm. Also, his backgrounds began to take on more detail.
This is not my favorite work storywise from this list (I'd go with his first run on Avengers for that), but it definitely is art-wise.

I choosed the Avengers 70´s period -- three reasons for that: I don´t know his FF work (but I´d assume it´s stylistic very much alike his Avengers) and I, personally, don´t like his art in Crisis and in general his present art at all (again, I know only the Avengers stuff).
Of course, this is only due to my personal liking, I´m simply no fan of his art in general. But, his (more early) art in the 70´s is OK for me, nothing I would complain about. Afterwards, he developed more and more this very, very detailed style of him with often very crowded drawings.
But, then again, I prefer a million times any drawings by Perez than manga styled art whatsoever. ;D

I like very detailed, crowed panels, but in the end I voted for his first Avengers run because in my opinion the faces (especially the noses) were nicer at that time.

Alrighty, then. 4 votes. Either no one likes my poll, no one likes George Perez at all, or if this is a reflection on the number of votes Van's been getting for the Jarvis Awards then it will be pretty cheap to get into the Hall of Fame...

The whole forum seems to be in a quite time in these last days. Maybe it's close to end of term exams and many have to study ? (that is what's happening in my own forum).

Since I've never read much DC and never saw most of those DC appearances by Perez, it was between first and second runs on AVENGERS for me.
I didn't much like Al Vey's inking on Vol. 3, so I went with 1970s Perez Avengers.

Just to update this topic --
While reading from the FF DVD-ROM, I have gained a new appreciation for George's 1970's work on that title. I have the originals of this run, but have not looked at them in years. Going through these books, with George's takes on some classic FF characters has been a nice way to "see it again for the first time". Sandwiched between runs by Buckler and Buscema, followed by Byrne (after being followed by Keith Pollard), and with the steady inks of Joe Sinnott, I would put George's FF work in these days up against any of the other choices in this poll. Highly recommended!!

I'm with Alaric: JLA/Avengers! It was way cool on so many levels!!! And his art, IMO, not only complemented the story, but actually enhanced it.
