In the classic 'Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" we find out that the answer to life, the universe and everything is ,...
42
How many times is this number significant in the Marvel universe?
We know that the prison in the Negative Zone is 42 In Avengers forever the number of timelines humanity has over run 42
Are there other references to this number throughout Marveldom?

Don't know.
In the Hebrew Bible, the number 40 means "a lot".
But I digress...

I'm pretty sure though, that I have seen the number 42 addressed in other places in comicdon.
I will give any person who finds references to the number 42 other than those listed an exalt
Comic book easter-egg hunt.

I know the '80s band "Level 42" (whose big hit was "Something About You") named themselves after the Hitchhiker's reference. Does that count?
