I've seen this one posed in other areas before, so I thought I'd throw it out here.
I can't cast a vote because I am mostly ignorant of the power levels of Darkseid. Feel free to educate as you vote.

Isn't Apocalypse basically immortal ? I think that would give him quite an edge...

I don´t know if Darkseid is actually immortal, but his lifespan must seem infinite compared to earthlings.

Darkseid for sure, he can slug it out with Superman, Apocolypse needs to assemble a TEAM of hoursemen to deal with the X-men.

Darkseid has the Omega Force. With it, he can destroy or resurrect any creature at will. Apocalypse goes down for the count in round 1.

Apocalypse does not stand a prayer against one of the best comic book villains ever.

A better matchup would have been Thanos vs Darkseid

Darkseid's more powerful but, IMO. Thanos is easily the most interesting character...

Darkseid -- so he can kick Apocalypse's (and Walt Simonson's) butt for what he did to Warren Worthington III.

Actually, I must admit I haven't... my understanding of the character comes from reading some of his appearances in the JLA & other related books...

If ever you read DC, read the King's Fourth World Stuff. IMO, it even surpasses DKR or Watchmen.

Between the poor spelling and the fuzzy context, it’s hard to be sure, but I will go with the notion that “Apocolypse” refers to the X-Factor/X-Men foe Apocalypse and not Darkseid’s planet Apokolips.
I’m voting for Darkseid because, of the two characters, he’s not the one that’s mind-numbingly boring from the inside out.

aren't Apokolips something you get from kissing Darkseid?

Apocalypse ha sbeen the major villain in one brilliant story, the Age of Apocalypse. The problem is, nothing else he EVER does can top that or even come close again, so he is a stale and boring character.

His visual is so silly I cant really see him as a threat... The only X-villain who looks sillier is Mr. Sinister, who looks like a S&M clown...

Mojo looks pretty goofy too. come to think of it, Xmen have turned out a slew of goofy bad guys that they pass of as world class baddies.
