I was reading through all of the back posts today and I saw several of you early guy's hello posts. Posts made when you first came on the scene.
I would like to suggest that a subject group (or whatever you call it) be set aside as a members introduction page. All current members would get on and write a short synopsis of themselves for new members to read and become familiar with us and then the new members would post a brief introduction of themselves.
It would not be a place for discussion, just introduction.
This would be like a yearbook for us.

I considered this a while ago, but there are so few new entries who actually become regular posters, that a greetings section looks a bit like a waste of space unfortunately

I think a lot of the significant information comes out in “standard” posts anyway…including things the member might not think to include in a self-description.
