OK Avengers.
You get to have one, and only one super power. What is it?
For me, I've always liked the Vision's density control, so that'd be it for me.
What would yours be?

For me, I've always liked the Vision's density control, so that'd be it for me. The Vision’s low-density abilities, as he has generally used them, constitute a very noctophantasmic power, affording intangibility, invisibility, and levitation or flight; on the high-density scale, it also quite conveniently gives strength, impenetrability (though intangibility essentially does too), and practical immovability. So, I agree his density control would be an excellent power. Alternatively, I wouldn’t mind Sue Richards’ ability to create force fields, which effectively would have largely the same traits (save intangibility).

Telekenesis. Moving stuff - including myself - with my mind would be absolutely awesome.
In second place, I'd take shape-shifting.

astral projection seems fairly cool. all the powers and no worries about taking any damage. other than that, invulnerability seems like the practical way to go. I'd like to have a learning curve and really any strong dude or energy projector will eventually run out of gas so that's when my invulnerability will turn the tide...

I love to travel so I'm going with teleportation, especially the long distance (Lila Cheney, Lockjaw) type, even more than the Nightcrawler type. I especially wouldn't want the brimstone smell that goes with his.

Control of all matter, energy, and time. I wonder if that would get boring after the first ten million years.

As simple as it is, I think I would just like to fly. Ah, to soar amongst the clouds and the wild blue yonder. Not to mention being able to pay back all the birds that poop on my car every day.

So many powers to choose from...
I do know what powers I wouldn't trust myself (or really, anyone for that matter) to have: -invisibility -telepathy -mind control -matter transmutation -time manipulation
On the positive side though, I think I'd like some sort of power to absorb and channel electrical energy, maybe giving myself superspeed and some increased strength, as well as the ability to blast the bad guys with electrical bolts. Cuz it would just look so cool... ;D

Be careful - - remember what happened to Icarus...and Jane Foster (Thor #136) I would like super ESP/telepathy/mind control powers, like Prof. X, Jean, Saturn Girl, et al. Those telepaths can do pretty much anything.

Control of all matter, energy, and time. RSC Penalty,... the author of the thread has decreed you have gotten greedy and tried to wrap up three powerws as one. Your punisment is that you have to go and have a 'conversation' with Doom.

I'd like the power to make any imaginary or fictional beings real... That is interesting. Would their lifespans be limited or would they become perminent residents of our world?

Actually, I believe it was decided some time ago- the idea, I think ,was Night Phantom's- that the members of this site should be more properly referred to as "Assemblers" rather than "Avengers" Well immortality is very tempting but it's not a super power per se. Hmm, that is VERY tricky... I think I'd have to go super speed- on a Flash level, rather than a Quicksilver one. Why, I really don't know except that it#s always struck me as both cool AND useful. Think about it; you could take a normal job and be promoted to the top in no time. Get a phD in whatever you want with ease because you can read and absorb a library in a day or so. Kick the ass of crime before they knew what hit it. Super speed is just awesome ...And I think a conversation with RSC is as much a punishment for me as for him! (J/k! No hard feelings RSC!)

Once I would decide bringing them to life, they'll be here for good... That's why I'd have to very careful in selecting them...

I'm just so impressed/shocked that none of you guys said 'x-ray vision'. Seems like a perennial favorite for boys of all ages! Well, I did mention Sue Richards’ power to create force fields, which have the ability to render the visible invisible…

Tana, that's what I call being uncreative!
Speed has MUCH more possibility- since one could theoretically... shall we say, undress a person and redress them in less than a second. And the time between could be an eternity to a speedster moving at full speed!
Of course Doomn is far too noble for such crude and childish games.

Speed has MUCH more possibility- since one could theoretically... shall we say, undress a person and redress them in less than a second. It seems like—unless the subject of the disrobing had some superpower like invulnerability—such actions could grievously injure him or her, perhaps fatally, if they involved moving parts of the subject’s body. Even the burns from sliding cloth at high velocity could be quite serious.

If one were the sort of morally unsurpulous person who would do such a thing in the first place, I doubt one is greatly concerned with the subject's well-being, Phantom.
