I know we all have wished we could write for Marvel at one point or another. I think we can have fun with a thread where we can just throw out our story ideas, no matter how "Out there" they might be. I'll start:
First, there turns out to be one last super Skrull left on Earth. He comes out of nowhere and puts Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Jessica Drew, Bob whatever his last name is Sentry, and Wolverine in comas with one massive blow. Bendis himself goes to the hospital in one of those fourth wall breaking moments. He prays over the five of them, declaring that he can't go on without these five characters. Joe Q is there beside him and promises to do anything he can to save them. Suddenly Mephisto shows up and tells Joe Q he'll take him up on that promise. He'll bring them all back to life but Bendis will never have written a single Avengers book or crossover event. Everything that happened during or since Disassembled no longer took place. Joe Q accepts the offer and the Status Quo is returned. When next we see them, all five characters are awake but Luke is Powerman again, Jessica is Jewel, Wolverine is in the X-Men only, Spiderwoman is Julia Carpenter while Jessica Drew is just plain Jessica Drew and Sentry - well, ironically, he's still around but no one remembers him and no one ever will.

I love it, spiderwasp. Except I kinda like Jessica Drew as Spider-woman (probably mostly for that costume), but Bendis ruined her return to comics as well.
You pretty much summed up what I've come to hate about the Avengers-verse since I returned to reading comics @ New Avengers #1. and as far as the Spider-verse goes, I'm glad I haven't wasted any time or money on that disaster. Nicely done, and it's nice to know others are shaking their heads at this debacle Bendis has created.
