How do you rate Quasar as an avenger, on a scale from 1 to 8 points? How well does he work for you within the dynamics of the team? How much do you like/dislike him as a character?

Fits in perfectly with the Avengers in terms of personality and powers, which are unique to the team. He brings a lot to the table. Some people may find the boy scout personality to be a bit bland, but I really liked seeing him as Cap's protege. The only things that Quasar needed in order to become an A-list Avenger are a better name and especially a better costume. Better than Marvel Boy, but still needs some work.

I thought he was OK... I didn't mind when he was on the team, and actually he was one of the more interesting characters in the early 90's. After that my interest in him just waned. I gave him a four.

I put him at a 5, a little better than halfway up the scale. Good memories of him -- gives the team a cosmic angle. Powers somewhat duplicate Monica's, so both of them at the same time is overkill.

I went 6 on Quasar for several reasons.
1st I go with DLW on the cosmic addition. He was a much better cosmic addition than Starfox or Mantis in my mind.
2nd he had a very positive hero attitude. In a time with all the battle weary characters that were coming out it was nice to have a hero with a 'let's go get 'em ' attitude
3rd he had that 'new hero smell' he had that newborn's view of being a hero. I liked that as well.

I gave Quasar a 5. I love his name and the costume he first wore with the Avengers, and I admit, I also sported a mullet in the early 90's. His attitude was alot like Monica's when she was a newbie, even though Quasar had been around for a long time. His membership wasn't during my favorite period, but I can see Quasar as a nice additon to any Avengers roster.
Avengers Infinity was a cool concept, but fell flat for me. I'd love a new version of Avengers Infinity featuring Thor, Photon, Moondragon, Starfox, Quasar, and Firebird.

6. I think Quasar was a great fit for the team.

Gotta give Quasar a 7. He has always been a favorite of mine, both solo and as an Avenger. He is the Green Lantern of the Marvel Universe. That power is a great asset to the Avengers when the threat level is at the highest. He works well in a team environment, as a part of the Avengers in the past, and recently as part of the Annihilation series, before his demise. (Though I read somewhere that he may or may not be back; can't comment cuz ah haven't read that comic.)

Avengers Infinity was a cool concept, but fell flat for me. I'd love a new version of Avengers Infinity featuring Thor, Photon, Moondragon, Starfox, Quasar, and Firebird. Man, that would be a great team! They worked so well together in that old mini and later, Firebird in "Kang Dynasty." I'd love to see an "Avengers Infinity" on-going.

I gave him a 6. He's actually one of my favorite avengers, no, make that one of my favorite Marvel characters period, thanks to Gruenwald's writing, but I still had to take some points away because, IMO, he never got to be as interesting in the pages of the Avengers as he was on his own book. As you can imagine, I didn't take it well when he was killed by Annilhus on the pages of Annihilation.

I liked Quasar's early stories at Project Pegasus hanging out with the ever lovin' blue eyed Thing. Always like the character and wished would have been explored more when part of the Avengers. Gave him a 6!

I still hand't voted in this one. Gave Quasar a 6. He hasn't been around that often, and his longer stint was in a not too glorious period for the group, but I like his powers and personality.
