I guess the reality of this, not owning nor reading any MA issues at all, is somewhat akin to a discussion Scott raised over in the Thor section. When Thor changed its numbering to reflect all appearances of the character, Scott being a completist now feels compelled to seek out some back issues he did not really care to buy. That's me, too -- I tend to be a completist. So let's say MA all of a sudden becomes a book I'm interested in (but if prices indeed jump to $3.99, it had better be REALLY good). I would almost feel like I had to get all of the backstory so I wasn't just jumping on mid-stream. And to be honest, I really don't want to read what I've heard was Bendis' feeble attempt at writing banter, I don't want to see Girl-tron or the Venom bomb-whatever. Don't want to shell out the dollars or the effort. So I guess I'll just stay on the sidelines. You all tell me how the change works out. Convince me to part with my money...

You better hope that MA never becomes too good then ^^ If it happens around issue #100 or #150, you'll spend a fortune in back stories! ;D
