How do you rate Gilgamesh on a scale from 1 to 8 points? How well does he work for you within the dynamics of the group? How much do you like/dislike him as a character?

Gilga-crap.
OK, maybe that is too cruel. I do think the character had some potential, but I was thoroughly unimpressed with this era of Avengers. A '1' for me.

A 1 instead of 0. This guy just made me mad, a forgettable wannabe in one of the lamest line-ups, right when I was in my comic collecting glory years.

Not a great run as an Avenger but full of potential. I'd pick him far ahead of others like She Hulk. He had a great personality flaw wherein he thought he'd done it all already and the world should love him. His variety of powers weren't interesting but his first costume, the silver one with the piping, is pretty cool. Had his powers more variety instead of standard eternal fare (i.e. strength, flight), I would pull for this guy even more. far better choice than Ares to me... I intend to make a custom figure of him in the original costume someday.

Could never stand the guy! Even if he was on a better team, I'd still give him a one. He was awful, an awfully boring character, and being on one of the worst Avenger teams of all time certainly didn't help his case!

It's certainly interesting how this avenger lives on infamously in the memories of the fans, considering he's supposed to be "The Forgotten One"... ;D

I actually surprised myself and went with a 2. Upon recently rereading the issues his appeared in, he wasn't quite as bad as I remembered. Don't get me wrong, he was bad, just not as bad as I remembered. There have been Avengers who have been worse but, nevertheless, I was glad to see him go.

A 2 for me. Not only was he on board for a very brief time but he never displayed much on the way of a personality as well. Still, he could have been very useful since he wasn't limited, like Herc or Wondy, to being just an extremely strong superhuman but, rather like Thor, he had many other ablities.

George Perez considers him the worst Avenger...so I figure that's worth voting him as a 1.

You pretty much summarized my feelings for him too. In a better line-up he would have had potential, but he stayed for too short a period and in a very unpopular roster. His silly death didn't help either.
