www.wizarduniverse.com/magazine/wizard/006951523.cfmI have been reminded of three things. 1) That Bendis's dialogue doesn't always annoy me and can indeed work very well for me sometimes- like now. 2) That Bagley is an awesome penciller. 3) That Mighty Avengers has already handled everything else better than New and is now handling Skrulls better as well. Oh, and some of you may be happy to see Tony Stark utter the following words: "**** the registration act!"

Oh, and some of you may be happy to see Tony Stark utter the following words: "**** the registration act!" 1.) I have always liked the natural flow of Bendis dialogue. It seems very natural. Maybe it will seem dated in 20-30 years but right now, it seems better than what I was reading in the 70's and early 80's. My problem is with his uhmmm... choices in vernacular (if I may be permitted to use that word twice in one day). "OY!" 2.) I actually liked that art. It's old school, solid, comic book art! Not sure why Tony is suddenly goatee-less, and back to the classic 'stache. Perhaps Evil Tony has gone back through the "mirror darkly." 3.) Hard to comment on that point, but would agree in so much of what I know second and third hand from others who are reading NA, or the 6-page previews I read of it, or the first several issues I have read that are on my Avengers DVD-ROM. As for the final comment. I would like to think he actually means to #$@%! the SHRA, but he could just be telling her to screw how she feels about it.... not what he believes about it.

Sorry, I have to note- it's actually a preview of #7, not #8, my bad.

That was some of his best written stuff since alias (excluding daredevil). No one liner after one liner, a real conversation. It was amazing to read. 2) Yes the art is very good. 3) I find it interesting that you are actually correct, about Mighty being better then New Avengers. It seems like a two different writers are writing the comics. Granted they are both badly decompressed, but MA seems to be better written, with less of the typical Bendis banter (I do grow tired of conversations that have charaters just saying one or two words back and forth at eachother.) Really hard to explain the totally different styles coming from the same writer.
