Bagley - Bendis= Better comics (In this case, less is deninitely more...)!!! Their run on "Ultimate Spider-Man" is just fantastic. Maybe with the two of them on "Mighty Avengers," they can channel some of that good energy. And make a great book into a fantastic book! ;D ~W~

Bagley should improve the book, but I still don't like Bendis, and I can't support what I don't like any longer.
That's the change Civil War made in me: my completist genes are burned out. No longer will I "give a book a chance" or "give a writer some time." When I read and issue and don't like it, I won't be back.

I am so utterly terrified for Doom right now that it's not funny.

Bagley = pretty good Spidey artist. But, can he pull off characters who rely on strength and not the wiry ability to bounce off walls, etc.? Ditko couldn't...

Well Bagley WAS the original Thunderbolts artist, right?

True. I'm just not that big a fan of his work. I didn't care for him on Amazing Spider-Man, but for some reason he seemed to work on Ultimate Spider-Man. Not sure why -- probably just me. I just wouldn't fancy him an Avengers artist. Maybe too much like Erik Larsen?

Not sure myself but I can see him more than Angel Medina...

The chief problem with Bagley's art is that all of his characters appear lanky; even musclebound tanks like Ares will show this tendency. But his style is clear and his lines are precise, which would be a great relief to anyone familiar with the chicken scratch of Bill Sienkiwicz (sp?) or Yu, both awful artists unless they have an inker who can compensate for their shortcomings.

Am I nuts (no pun intended THIS time....) or have Doom & Nutcase switched identities all OVER the board... It must be that diabolical trick the Ovoids taught Doom...!!!

What rubbish is this? Of course not.
For example: ...
Marvel suck!
Doom would explode if he tried to say that!

Regarding Bill Sienkiewicz—I’ve never cared for his work as a sequential artist, but I have enjoyed his style on single-image works. He did a New Universe poster I adore, and I also recall liking some Star Trek-related covers he did for DC.

I found him very scratchy, and I can envision some books he'd work well on, but without an inker who can compensate for his shortcomings, I found him difficult to endure.
