What do you guys think about a Play by Board RPG featuring the old TSR Marvel game? Would that be appropriate? Is there enough interest to do this? I would volunteer to be the Judge.
Basically, it would be a straightforward classic version of the game, using and staying faithful to the old supplements. All characters would be contemporary to those supplements (late 80's), specifically the Avengers-related ones (Avengers Assembled, Time Trap, All this and World War II, Night Moves, etc.)
I want it to be low-pressure, pick-it-up-and-run-with-it game. No need to be familiar with the ins and outs of the game-- it would be more of a storytelling jam than anything (although there are .pdf copies of virtually every supplement available online.)
If it's okay and there's enough interest, we can talk more details. What do you think? What would you like to see?

Hey I used to have that . My friends and I would sit around and roll up random characters. Never really actually played the game that much. Champions was a much better superhero RPG.

Champions was a much better superhero RPG. *gasp* *choke* *cough* What?! Oh, you also said you never played the game much. *wipes sweat from brow* LOL. Anyway, I realize there's different styles for different tastes. I wasn't much for the numbers-crunching of rpg at all (although pretty much all my gaming friends were) so I never personally liked Champions. My favorite superhero RPG was a home-made version using the rules of Feng Shui Action Movie roleplaying. But that's another story.

I have played an online forum based RPG game, and it takes quite a lot of time, especially from the GameMaster. Not sure if it would work here where many people only connect briefly from work...
