This is something you are going to have to see to believe. In a new marketing tactic to try and gain new readers of Marvel comics, Marvel is doing a cross-over with the daytime soap opera Guiding Light. It seems that one of the characters in Guiding Light gets electrecuted, and gains powers, and then in the comics, Marvel's heroes see of she is a threat, or something. At first, I thought this was a joke, but it comes from Marvel.com. It really made me think abot what month it was, because this seems like a April Fools Day prank. I don't know what the hell Marvel is trying to accomplish with this, because in my opinoin, especially after watching the preview, this looks like the dumbest idea ever, and Marvel will probably get ragged on even more for doing this than they did after changing Spider-Man's costume. Here is the link with the official information from Marvel, and the hilarious preview (note that it isn't supposed to be funny, but soap operas are bad enough). You got to see this. www.marvel.com/news/comicstories.703

Oh, now I get what Guiding Light is ! We have it in Italy as well (6 months or so behind what happens in the States), but the title has been changed so I didn't pick up on it. Brrr, my mother used to watch it even before I was born...
