I picked this up a number of years ago during the Bob Harras "Marvel's Finest" trade paperback program, so I won't be picking this up.
Man, what a great story . . .

I have the story in seperate reprints so I won't be picking it up either, but man, it's good to see it get the attention it deserves. At least Secret Invasion has ONE use even for those who dislike Bendis, right?

I have the tpb too so I probably won't pick this up unless it contains some new commentary or something.
I hope they reissue the Korvac Saga and Under Siege one of these days... I don't have the tpbs or all of the issues involved.

I thought it was a great story they also released a TPB of the Avengers West Coast where the Scarlet Witch betrayed them.

You probably found them in the meantime, but they are both on Amazon Under SiegeKorvac SagaAnd Ebay Under SiegeKorvac SagaThe latter is said to be a "first print" from 1991. There is also a 2001 reprint, but at a ridicolous 39$ (it's 13$ on Amazon). I have them both and are certainly worth reading and collecting! Great stories

Now this is a tpb I do have, "Darker than Scarlet"...and this was the first time I'd ever read the arc in its entirety. Very hard to take in some places, but overall a powerful story. Glad you liked the Kree-Skrull War saga, goldenfist.

Apparently Clint suffered a fate worse than death... (SPOILER??) ...because he came back looking like this.

Who can forget ol Hawkeye in a mini-skirt? Yup, he wound up coming back to Earth, and hooking up with a travelling European circus that just happened to have an amnesiac Hercules as their strongman. If somebody wrote that today, I'd probably be annoyed with them.

I think there was also some blue mixed in there, as well... or am I going senile at such a young age? Tana: It was the 70's, I think everyone experimented back in the 70's.

Clint must have been going through his "free love" period...
In any case, the Kree-Skrull War is a must read for all Avengers fans. I've probably said it a million times, but that storyline was my introduction to the Avengers, so I've always held it in high regard.

Too bad wizard magazine didn't name Hawkeye's mini skirt one of the wrost suits in comics, They named his Golaith suit one of the wrost comic suits in comic history.
