In regard to the whole continuity mess, as I have scaled back my modern reading... I sometimes just want a good ol' Batman (or Spider-Man, or FF, or JLA, etc.) story. Not being a month-to-month reader all that much anymore, continuity has for me taken a backseat to good storytelling. So when I read "Justice", I really don't care when the story takes place -- just that the art is good and the story is acceptable. If I'm entertained, and say, "Hey, I'd re-read that in a couple of months." then all is well.

I know how lame this sounds, but how is this for continuity. I have all of Cap's issues on DVD I have the Avengers DVD As soon as I get Iron Man, I'm gonna organize them, with the Avengers as the main line, so that I can read through the series and read all the tie in's that are mentioned as the stories go along. I'll probably even get Thor (thanks a lot Tana, your posts in the Thor line have gotten me that interested. More money I don't have ) How's that for continuity?

What should I say: I have all Avengers, Cap, Spider-Man (including Spectacular, Web of, Peter Parker, Marvel Team Up), Daredevil, Fantastic Four, Thor, Iron-Man, Champions and JLA, including Brave and the Bold issues. Will take a couple of lifetimes to read them all ^^
But I see Doug's point in his last post. I recently read the TPB of Bruce Wayne: Murderer, and then Fugitive, and since I wasn't a constant reader of the books were it was originally printed, I wasn't very interested in continuity (I would even say that some parts referring to past storylines, or overshadowing future ones were tedious).
