I find myself liking this. It'll be interesting to see what happens at the end of "Baron Zemo meets Quantum Leap"

It's issue 2 of this series,.. and I still find it interesting. It's also pretty good artwork. Usually issue 2 is where I want to throw these mini-series in the trash.

issue 3 still has this as a series worth reading. The development of Zemo's character moves along well and, at this point, he seems to be trying to be a good guy. I'm liking the plot and the art.

Agreed, Nutcase. The artwork is easy on the eyes. I like Nicieza’s exploration of Zemo as he explores the Zemo heritage and the themes of power, leadership, nobility, responsibility, superiority, and more. I’m looking forward to #4’s meeting with his Vati. Nice cameo this ish by the WW I Union Jack. The present-era storyline is interesting too. What a shocking development at the end of #2! I’m curious as to where this will all lead.

It really has you wondering who the present-time guy really is. It would seem he's a bad-guy and I think when Zemo returns he's goona be more of a good-guy than ever before, so there's a fight a-brewin'
Also, do you think we might be about to see Zemo counselling himself?

Honestly, I hadn’t considered the possibility that Helmut might meet a younger instance of himself. It’s hard to say what would come of that meeting. (I’m guessing the timestream would continue as it has; possibly the present Helmut’s attempts would fail or even backfire; or possibly he would intentionally push his younger self onto the same path he took, calculating that the mistakes he’s made were a necessary part of his own evolution—a “noble sacrifice” of sorts.)

I heard somewhere that Zemo is about to meet his anscestors, and one descendant, so It isn't such a leap to think he'll time leap to an era with a younger him, and it seems possible he could overshoot his own era and continue on into the future.
Either that or the guy researching the Zemo's is related to him somehow.
I hope he moves to some alternate future where he's happy and settled down with a loving wife and son, and spends a long time trying to atain all that....Zemo style.

I believe the guy doing the research is the aforementiones descendant. As far as ancestors he go, he's already up to daddy dearest.

Just finished the last book in this series. As far as the mini-series go I enjoyed this one more than any of the other series I read this year. The art was good and the story was interesting for me.
DLW did you read through this one? If so how did you like it from its historical aspect?
