Did anyone else think that the New T-Bolts won a little too easily?
No?
Maybe just me... *grin*

WAY too easily. Come on, Wolverine is on the New Avengers now! Even Galactus wouldn't be able to beat them with him on the team! Arishem the Judge will run away scared rather than look at them! The New T-Bolts shouldn't stand a chance. Seriously, though, they definitely did win way too easily. Joystick, however, should have been able to kick Spider-Woman six ways from Sunday, but lost the fight (even though she succeeded in her overall mission). I guess if Spider-Woman can beat Joystick, it stands to reason that the comparatively weak T-Bolts could beat the rest of the New Avengers. Just imagine the issue takes place in an "opposite field" and everything will work itself out. There's something about the current run on T-Bolts that is way off to me. I have just plain loved EVERYTHING Nicieza has written for Marvel (as far as I can tell I own every issue he's written, except for Cable & Deadpool) and felt his run on Thunderbolts Vol.1 was much better than Busiek's - but in the current volume it all just seems to be getting weaker and weaker. It still beats most of Marvel's other titles and is more than good enough for me to keep picking it up (even if Blizzard is gone... *sob*) but I'd like to see Nicieza come up with his usual, much stronger showing. - Adrian

I think the Thunderbolts had a distinct advantage, which is what caused them to win. They held the cards. The Avengers had no idea what was going on until Tony caught on near the end. The New Avengers aren't used to working together, for the most part, and the T-bolts took advantage of it.
As much as I hate to say it, I would love a rematch in the New Avengers title... (knowing full well my T-bolts will likely get their asses handed to them)

(knowing full well my T-bolts will likely get their asses handed to them) The T-Bolts wouldn't have their arses handed to them... they'd just have to quit early, what with the sore backs from all the standing around and talking. To paraphrase the H4H in Cable/Deadpool #21: Iron Fist: "What would the Avengers do in this situation?" Luke Cage: "Probably talk about it a lot. And then blow something up." - Adrian

I enjoyed it. Not immensely, but the issues had merits.
But face it, the T-Bolts have Radioactive Man on their team and if he was allowed to cut loose there would be no one could stop them.
i am looking forward to the next issue and the Squadron Sinister though. Hope that comes to something...

i think the T-Bolts did not win too easy. Basically, the NA are all very good at what they do, but aside from Cap and Iron Man, the team aren't used to being together as a team. The T-Bolts have been seriously working on their teamwork. Makes sense to me.
Also, I agree, something does seem off reguarding NT and the older title was better (before the stupid fight club crap). I basically sum it up as the original being better....
