Patriot, Vision, and Hawkeye appear in the Winter Soldier Winter Kills book out this week. There are also flashback appearances of the Invaders, and a nice guest appearance by somebody (I won't spoil it) at the end. This was a very nostalgic book and a good read. Two thumbs up!

I'm with you on this. I thought the story was well done with a little action, some current character development, and some good flashback material: all very well balanced. As someone who was VERY wary of this Bucky back to life stuff, I have to say I am coming to like this idea.

As someone who was VERY wary of this Bucky back to life stuff, I have to say I am coming to like this idea. You know BigDuke, I feel the same way. When I first heard about it, I thought, 'can't they let anyone stay dead any more?' But I think it has been handled exceptionally well, and opens up new areas to explore with Cap. --------SPOILER WARNING-------------- I absolutely adored that final scene with WS and Namor. It was just spot on as far as tone, and the best writing of Namor I have seen in ages. Brubaker gets the character and is able to show him as more than the 'pompous jerk' he is usually depicted as.

I agree, he shows Namor's comradarie with his old teammate, and still manages to keep the tone of haughtiness as well. It was all very nicely done I think.
