Been busy lately with a new baby whose middle name was almost Kirby -- but I'm still checking in for the Avengers polls when I can. Put a rocking chair in your Sanctum Sanctorum for those long nights of rocking and reading! Congrats from me as well!

I nearly added you to this list, haven't seen you around for a week or so, and it was getting more and more lonely

Yes, a self-imposed hiatus.
It really is good to see some of our prodigals return!

I am here, just havn't seen much use in rehashing the same old discussions, resulting in pointless arguements.

Asgardian steps out of the Negative Zone, where he was trapped for the past year, battling villain after villain. Looks around and discovers that Asgard is gone and no one remembers him. Shrugs shoulders and empathises with Triumph...

Glad your pulse still pulsates. Storing up some obnoxiousness to unleash on the unwitting masses at some yet-to-be-determined future date?

Spiderwasp Engage I'm still around. I've just had a really busy schedule lately. I haven't even managed to pick up the new MA. It's nice to be missed though.

Hmm... the forum has been very quiet lately, a lot of people have been MIA! dlw, sharkar, Van, Tana Nile, bobc, where are you guys? I must confess that I myself have been very busy. A lot of things going on in my personal life that are taking first priority!

Love the new avatar, Doc. Ooooh, thank you! It of course (Well, of course to me...) comes from the cover of Tales to Astonish #69. I must say I didn't do a bad cropping job. Thanks, Paint! Thought it had been too long since I last had Hank in the avatar! It's one of my favorite pictures of him, I think I'm keeping this one!

Where is our Fearless International Leader, Shiryu??? Take some time away from the back-cracking and post a bit, my friend!
Would love to hear some of von Bek's Silver Age musings, as well!

Why, thank you, sir! It's from the Marvel Value Stamps website, available here: I'm not trying to knock the new avatars. They actually are pretty cool but I recently sold my copy of Incredible Hulk 181 for $385. I'm sure I could have gotten more than $2000 had I not cut out the Marvel Value Stamp when I was a kid. It still got a 7.0 CGC grade even with the stamp neatly cut out so obviously it was in great condition otherwise. So anyway, I guess you can see why Marvel Value Stamps don't really hold that much of a warm place in my heart.

Oooohh how I have often cringed at the difference in price, with just even the stamp getting cut out! However, the reader in me DOES love seeing old comics have cheaper prices due to a coupon that was cut out -- but only if they don't affect the story inside!
