Okay, so, clearly, I'm going to have to change the red background color for panels where black text goes. Sorry, gang-- new at this message board thing. I'll get it done asap.

nice message board (although haven't really explored it...lol But question...could you go in and fix it so we can set our own height and wedth to our avatars? You said you're new at this so if you need to know how I can give your the...thingy (whatever its called) that'll allow this. I'm no computer expert either, I just know this one thing cause I have a personal message board and I was able to get some help from someone else

Hi, welcome aboard. If you can tell me how to fix that, please do. It says on the admin section that the size of the pictures (icons) can be 100 x 100, but it apparently will only display them at this small size (except for Ultron, who somehow has his displayed larger!) So, sure, tell me what to do to fix that. Thanks.

I simply have a 80x100 pic and set the 80x100 in the widthxheight setting in the modify profile screen.
I'm not black or anything, so there's no reason for mine to be bigger than yours.

okay, go to the admin section, then click on headers and footers.....then on the drop down list click on global headers/footers....then under footers put...
<script type="text/javascript"> <!-- /* Remove avatar size limits for everyone by california */ var img=document.getElementsByTagName("img"); if(location.href.match(/=(display|viewprofile|search2|pmview|recent)/)){ for(i=0;i<img.length;i++){ if(img.alt=="[avatar]"){ var t=img.parentNode; var s=t.innerHTML.replace(/width=.?\d+?.?/i,''); t.innerHTML=s.replace(/height=.?\d+?.?/i,''); } } } // --> </script>
<script type="text/javascript"> <!-- /* avatar size limit by california */
var maxWidth=200; var maxHeight=200;
var img=document.getElementsByTagName("img"); for(i=0;i<img.length;i++){ if(img.width>maxWidth && img.alt.match(/\[avatar\]/i)){ img.style.height=""+(img.height*maxWidth/img.width)+"px"; img.style.width=""+maxWidth+"px"; } if(img.height>maxHeight && img.alt.match(/\[avatar\]/i)){ img.style.width=""+(img.width*maxHeight/img.height)+"px"; img.style.height=""+maxHeight+"px"; } } // --> </script>
that worked on my board and its a preoboards so it should work here too
