As for New Avengers #50-
After reading this and once again (and for the last time- this will be my last Bendis-penned expenditure) scratching my head at the readers/reviewers who consider Bendis a great dialogue-writer, I thought this was poorly written. Face it, every character is using the same voice--Bendis' foul mouthed voice. And has anyone ever told the guy you can use these things called boxes to put words in- thus moving the story along without having the characters talking over and over about every little back-story or occurence.
And I like the way the heroes kept saying, "I don't even want to HEAR the word Skrull ever again!" LOL! Welcome to MY world for the last year-and -a half!
But on a positive note, the pictures were real pretty---
in fact, to maximize your enjoyment of #50, don't even read the words.
I'm not kidding, I went back over it just admiring the art and action, and without Bendis' words, it's pretty darn good.
Oh yeah <SPOILER ALERT>
he's pretty much ruined Hawkeye/Ronin/Clint. revealing his identity to the world pretty much kills the need to wear the Ronin mask, and for that matter any hope/need for Clint putting the Hawkeye mask back on. So thanks for ruining that too, BMB. Stay classy!

What do you expect from a guy who said "writing New Avengers is like taking a giant dump?" "Class" isn't exactly a word that comes to mind.
Over the last two years I have mistakenly purchased a couple of Bendis books, not realizing he was the writer--and I use the term loosely. It was like getting stun-gunned. I'd read a few pages and when the suckage rose to a certain level, I'd freeze in horror and then look at the cover to see who wrote this crap and yup--it was Bendis every time.
Is anyone even defending this hack anymore?
