Has anyone out there actually read this? I would like to know the situation with Steve Rogers but I just can't bring myself to read any of the current stuff.

I read Captain America Reborn #3 this week. Part of the issue depicts Cap's involvement in the classic Kree-Skrull War. While I have generally enjoyed Brubaker's work, I have to ask: Does anyone actually do any research any more? Because if either Brubaker or the editorial staff had, they would realize that :
1)Goliath (Clint Barton) had lost the ability to grow giant size once the Avengers went into space to fight the Skrulls. Clint did heroically come close to sacrificing his life by stopping a Skrull ship that was equipped with a nuke and headed for Earth, but he did it normal sized. He never fought alongside Cap on a Skrull ship.
2)Captain Marvel was not involved in the space fight against the Skrull armada, as he was trapped on the Skrull homeworld, forced to develop an Omni-Wave device for the Emperor.
Call me cranky, but I'm tired of seeing errors like this in books, showing a complete disregard for the foundations of the MU. It would have taken maybe 5 minutes flipping through one of the many collections of the K-S War to get this right. What's next, Galactus trying to drink the Earth through a straw?
That is all.

I've been in the minority as I never really enjoyed Brubaker's work. This is just one more example to me.
