www.marvel.com/blogs/Tom_BrevoortThought this was interesting- it was an interesting entry in general from the guy who has been Avengers editor for ten years, but this particular part stood out: "What put me in mind of all this was reading through a copy of ASSEMBLED!, a book of essays and reviews covering the entire history of the series put together by the members of the Avengers Mailing List. It's a sort of all-star compilation of Avengers super-fans, and while I don't necessarily agree with every opinion they have, the book is nevertheless a fine read for any Avengers aficionado, and an overall handsome package. You can find it on the web at www.lulu.com/content/545283" I'd assume that "don't agree with the opinion" bit is in regards to New Avengers and Civil War but it was nive of the guy to give you a plug anyway. Thought you might get a kick out of that, Van. Interestingly, it is now the longest any one editor has edited Avengers, and is apparantly closing on the record for any one editor editing any marvel book.

Well, sure-- I can't imagine *anyone* would agree with every opinion expressed in that book. The contributors don't necessarily agree with each other, for that matter. That's part of the fun.
I appreciate Tom's comments very much, and I thank you for posting the URL, Doom.
