When is this book supposed to come out? It's been almost 2 months since #3

I haven't seen it, and my shop is pretty good about subscriptions. I'll try to remember to ask tomorrow when I collect my weekly fix books.

couple of weeks... November 14th. www.marvel.com/catalog/?date=2007-11-14Something seems to be wrong with the production on the book, as #5 isn't slated for release until the day after Christmas. And of course, with a holiday in there, my shop won't have it until the next day... so really the 27th.

May be a team up with Thor and Santa Claus? Thanks for the news. I think #4 was in the October solicits, but has been postponed to mid november, so I suppose some delay is going on.

Yes, there were delays. No Thor was solicited for January, so 6 was poushed back to then, 5 to December and 4 to November.

It just amazes me that delays are practically the norm nowadays, for both Marvel and DC. Most businesses can not afford to operate that way, but I guess they figure it won't affect their bottom line. I think it does hurt the retailers, but from talking to my LCS, there's little they can do about it.

I find myself liking this new THOR more and more... Too bad (for me) it is the one gleaming exception within the current MU! Perhaps I should give CA a try, since everyone seems to think it's so great...

There are some other images out there from the issue, including- in case the cover wasn't clue enough- the Warriors Three! At leastr this retcons one of Busiek's few bad moves- making Thor no longer bulletproof....
And Bong, if you do not buy Cap I will personally hunt you down and force you to read it. The entire first 25 issues are in a hardcover now (And really every issue, from 1 to 31, has just been a giant epic with each issue leading into the next) and it remains the best comic on the market and the best Captain America run ever.

Agreed (with apologies to Steve Englehart).

I agree on how constant the delays seem to be. I almost miss fill-in issues, some of them were even good at times. I wonder if artists / writists have too much leeway in these days, I don't remember this being such a constant problem in the past, except on some books

Word... I'm not in the least inclined to test the limits of Doom's patience and grace... In point of fact, I might even give the ol' favorite, IM, a whirl, providing they don't rely too much on CW or WWH after a while...
