Today's the last day of the semester and exams are just about finished. I'll be sporadic over the next couple of weeks with family and holiday activities. All the best to my friends on these boards -- have a wonderful holiday season and all the best in the New Year!

I plan to spend the holidays curled in a fetal position on my bed, awaiting death. Here are the lyrics of my favorite Christmas song "Things Fall Apart:"
My mother says I'm a survivor I pull together Christmas every year ""something has to last," she said, "once a year, let's have the past" But then one year to hang an angel on the tree became a painful thing "Besides," my mother said "She's lost her wing"
Things fall apart but they never leave my heart Good morning midnight, it's Christmas
My boyfriend said it's really sweet the way you go for Christmas Cheer But then he said "I can't stand in your way--it's wrong" Way of what? I asked but he was GONE
Things Fall apart but they never leave my heart Good morning Midnight it's Christmas
The party was a huge success "But where do we go next?" they asked They all got ripped and laughed too loud I began to feel queazy in the crowd I caught a cab and went home again alone, alone
Things fall apart...

Thanks Shiryu! Hope the Holiday over there on the Anglo/Italio/Euro slice of the world was happily festive.
We had a huge snowstorm on the 18th, and the snow managed to hang on right through the 25th, giving us folks in the DC area a delightful (and rather unusual) white Christmas. My daughter & I are particularly fond of the winter weather, so this was a huge plus for making our holiday happy.

PS-- Hey, the family got me Ultimate Alliance 2, and it's proved to be a hit w/ both kids as well. I think we have four different tracks running concurrently. . .
HB again-

Shiryu, what a beautiful sentiment--and of course, graphic! Buon Natale to you (and everyone else)!

Grazie! Yes, it was great thanks! It's been colder than usual here, on the South England coast. Many places have had snow, but Christmas was a bright, chilly but sunny day. Overnight temperatures have touched -6°C, which again is colder than normal, but it could be much worse. Any Marvel-related presents anyone? I've got nothing of the kind Next year I'll resort to Santa!
