Its kinda like what Burbaker said tho, his other options would be cap in jail, or cap finds america, both of which would allow for exploration of his choices, but both of which have also been seen in the MU fairly recently in some form or another.

They couldn't have Captain America in jail - people would laugh at them. Well, more people would. And they couldn't have Cap go free with no consequences; that wouldn't make sense. That leaves having the pro-registration forces realize they were wrong or putting bullets in Cap. Looked at that way their choice makes sense.

I was about to type up my thoughts on IRON MAN #18, but then I read Doom's review and have to say I agree with virtually everything he said in it.
How ironic that even as Iron Man as a character is at his lowest ebb in quite a while (ever?) with the fans, his book is better than it's been in many years.

Not lower than when he lived drunk in the gutter (Well in my opinion anyway) Definately a solid contender for second lowest though
