I just started re-reading my Iron Man issues from the mid-1980s, along with some new acquisitions that filled the gaps in my collection -- and I've got to ask -- any other Denny O'Neil fans out there?
I didn't remember these issues (170 to 190) being as particularly special, but on re-reading them 20 some odd years later, I really enjoy the way these stories unfold. The characterization of Rhodey and Stark -- the way O'Neil fits random super villains into the stories while carrying character-driven stories forward at the same Time. Oneil is a master comics writer, to my taste.
I didn't realize he did so much Iron Man until now. Anybody know what issues he worked on?

According to Wikipedia: Iron Man #158 and #160-#208. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dennis_O%27NeilI liked his late 60s DC work (Wonder Woman, JLA and of course GL); he was one of the people who tried to make then-stodgy DC more relevant (translation: more like Marvel).
