I really enjoyed the direction MS MARVEL took, toward the end of "Season One." I hope Reed is right when he says the "next season" will be even better.
I like the fact that Simon has become a major supporting character there.
I like the way Reed writes Carol's personality, in general.
I liked the art, and will miss De la Torre.
I will not miss the Frank Cho depiction of Carol. Yuck.
I ADORE the new Greg Horn covers. WOOHOO!
And few scenes in recent memory made me happier than seeing the AIM cabal seated in a circle, diabolically discussing world domination. I love that stuff. Sinister guys in yellow beekeeper outfits, talking about how they should be ruling the world, if not for these meddling superheroes (and MODOK). Heh.
(What does that say about me? Yikes... )
It sounds like year two for Carol will be "darker." Fine, dandy--I would just like to see more villains that are worth getting excited about. AIM is good, but some of these others... yeesh! Give her some credible baddies to fight!
Maybe this book isn't dead yet. I hope not. Carol deserves a chance to make a go of it.

I hope it's good! Civil War has actually got me interested in Ms. Marvel (she is now my favorite Heroine (it used to be Elektra)), & I'm gonna start picking up the series from the "Season Two" point, & on.
