Who would make your list for the "Top Five", depicting Cap in his regular book or related (Invaders, Avengers, New Avengers, etc - wherever he's a regular).
Mine would be:
* Neal Adams * George Perez * Steve Epting * Dave Hoover * Sal Buscema

I think you forgot Steranko in there. And I agree. The three or four issues he did will always be my favorites.
But I would have to put John Buscema and George Perez realy high on my list with Neal Adams right in there.

Interesting that co-creator Kirby didn't garner more votes here.
My picks: Steranko Colan John Buscema and don't laugh- - I liked Heck's take on Cap in some of the Kooky Quartet issues. I especially liked Heck's depiction of Cap unmasked...Heck's Steve Rogers had a gravity that set him apart from say, Pietro or Hawkeye.
And Kirby.

John Byrne -- The definitive Cap artist to me. Kieron Dwyer -- Superb action and fight scenes. Very expressive faces despite a "cartoony" style. Gene Colan -- Moody. One of my favorite old-school artists. George Perez -- the first Avengers run Ron Lim -- OK, I know I'm picking him above Kirby and Buscema, but I have a soft spot for his work on CA
