Did anyone check out the latest SubMariner series? Whatcha think? Overall I enjoyed the plot. The ending came as sort of a surprise to me though.
***spoilers***
It was interesting to see Namor take his army to hook up with Doom. There could be huge repercusions to come in numerous titles, if Marvel writers so choose. What I did NOT like was the fact that the remaining Atlantis citizens are amongst us now, as sleeper cells. It reeks too much of the Skrulls that have infiltrated us already, which I don't much care for either. Also didn't like the fact that Atlantis is destroyed now.

While I am glad that they did not turn this into some huge Atlantis War special crossover extravaganza, I have trouble accepting Namor's decisions. Abandoning Atlantis: maybe. Destroying it? And I just don't swallow him sending his people to live among the landdwellers who have forced this issue while taking his army to live with Doom, someone he knows can't be trusted. The story was pretty enjoyable, right up to the climax, which left me thinking WTF. My only hope is that Namor is a Skrull.

Doesn't sound like the Namor I knew... Of course, mine's an uninformed opinion, since I haven't read the book.
