Two quick, non-spoiler things about MOON KNIGHT #3:
1) Finch's art suits this book perfectly, and the story is playing out at a nice pace. You can tell it's being "written for a trade," but with this sort of story, where you slowly learn what happened in the recent past to put the main character in such a predicament, it works.
2) And the final page's big reveal is probably my favorite since Kang showed up at the end of YOUNG AVENGERS #1. I actually yelled, "NO WAY!!" when I turned to that last page.
If you're an old-school Avengers fan and you aren't reading MOON KNIGHT, I *highly* suggest you pick up at least #3, and get to that last page. You won't regret it.
Van's Rating: MOON KNIGHT #3: **** out of 5 stars (Yes-- along with YOUNG AVENGERS #12, these are two of the best comics of the year, both out in the last week or two. Wow!)

Huh.
So, did everyone just give up on MOON KNIGHT after #2 or something?
Trust me, folks-- if you're an old-school Avengers fan, you will be very interested in what's coming, based on the last page of #3.
WIZARD recently did a full-page profile of this character, and now I know why...

No, Van, I´m still with you on MK. Personally, I rate #3 lower than the first two books (but then, honestly, I believe I do not know this "last page" character so far), and that´s mainly due to the slow pace of story telling. Yes, it´s really me saying this, a guy who doesn´t dislike the slow pace of Bendis´ story telling in NA that much as so many of you do. I think, this may be mainly due to the fact that I know so little about Moon Knight and I´m eagerly to learn more about this character. Of course, that is a "problem" I do not have with the (New) Avengers guys. But by no means is MK #3 a bad book, (for me) new characters are introduced, a (for me) new villain (who really seems not to be a nice guy...), so there is something happening. ;D And for about the art: This is really, really great stuff from Finch. I did like his art on Avengers too (very much), but you´re right about that, his dark and gloomy style fits Moon Knight even better. Just like Finch mentioned himself, one can really see that he enjoyes working on Moon Knight.

MOON KNIGHT totally rocks! I have the complete run from the 80's, most of 'em signed by Bill Sienkiewicz (and a cool sketch of MK as well). It's cool to see him with a new lease on life literally and figuratively
