The awesomeness.
I feel so bad for Jen - she really shouldn't have to deal with these things on her own. It isn't in her nature. She has the brains and the brawn, but not the control - one day, she isn't going to get out of one of these situations.
I believe that the Guardians of the Galaxy were shown when a TVA officer mentioned members from the future - can anyone possibly get a hi-resolution, zoomed-in scan so I can tell? The pic is way too small.
The TVA have a very good point, too - Jen should NOT have warned Hawkeye of his upcoming death.
What?!
She promised she wouldn't. That's the problem. If she never agreed to the rules of the "time trial", then man, saving Clint SHOULD have been #1 on her list of priorities.
But she promised to obey certain rules, and she broke her promise. Erase her from history!
Sometimes, Slott's humour takes a few minutes to click with me, so I find I have to read his issues a few times, but they are certainly worth it.
Ironically, the TVA is doing more damage than the people they persecute - I hope that is mentioned in the full-length issue.
I would have loved to have had the chance to learn Death's Head's status (since he was last seen working for the TVA - don't get me started, his time with the TVA was AFTER being killed by Minion, don't get me started, I will break heads, DON'T get me started).
The small reference to Mockingbird's past crime was enough to make me clamour for a Slott-scribed Whacko series. Well, I'd prefer Roy Thomas and Steve Englehart working together, but Slott would be awesome - or they could even ALL work together!
One of the things that I dislike about Slott is his references to continuity. Now, those of you who know and love me know I am a continuity sleeper; but Slott sometimes locks himself in too tight. He hasn't done that in the new volume of She-Hulk - yet - but using Justice Peace (hmmmm.... why did I just write *Magistrate* Peace? What have I forgotten?) isn't necessary. He could have easily created a new character and the story would be just as cool.
Ah well.
This really is the coolest thing coming out this week, although it shares that honour with Amazing Fantasy #16. Buy 'em both, yokels.
